Fashion week is not just about the clothes. This season saw a real variety in beauty techniques. From the theatrical inspired designs of Fendi (pictured above) to the 'au naturel' approach embraced by designers such as Dolce and Gabbana and Stella McCartney, makeup stunned the spectators.
It is important that when trying to reproduce such looks, especially the neon coloured eye shadow and the gold upper eye jewels, that you remember, less is more. Despite the obvious intention of making an impact, you will notice the sparseness of application to other areas. The remaining features are very simplistic, almost untouched, drawing attention to the eyes only. Over compensate and do not be surprised if you are mistaken for a clown.
