I am literally in love with these Isabel Marant, rodeo style cowboy boots! They are absolute perfection! Guaranteed to look perfect with any outfit- from skinny jeans to a skirt with a flowing hemline. Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to pre-order them by a couple of hours, which, let me tell you, made for a very disappointed Chelsea! All I can do now is sit and wait, hoping to snap them up before they sell out when the collection finally hits the shops. Good luck ladies... these will sell like hot cakes.

'Leather Forever'

 In celebration of their 175th anniversary Hermes are hosting an exhibition entitled 'Leather Forever'. They will be showcasing their famous Birkin Bag, as well as some one off pieces, like those comissoned by the Duke of Windsor for his wife Wallis Simpson.

 The exhibition will be held at the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington Gardens, and is a must, if, like me, handbags are your weakness! Maybe see you there...

Pastels and Patterns

Was heading for lunch with the girls yesterday and thought what better to wear than a mix match of some of this seasons key themes. I literally fell in love with this blazer the moment i saw it! The cut is so feminine and the pale pink definately satisfies the criteria for the SS12 pastels. Worn with the floral trousers, it transgresses the 'fairytale fantasy' look seen on the runway from designers such as Marc Jacobs, for Louis Vuitton, and Alexander McQueen. The 'in your face' florals suggest confidence as opposed to innocence.

Nicholas Kirkwood has designed these truely A-MAZING Pilotto heels for AW12-13. Unfortunately I have spent too much in preparation for SS12 to justify this slight over-spend. However, for the next four days they are avaliable for pre-order from Moda Operandi. They can be yours for a 50% deposit with the rest to pay when they are shipped (July-September 2012). The contrasting colours are sure to brighten up even the darkest of winter wardrobes.

STELLA McCARTNEY

Inspired by the up and coming Olympics Stella reminds us that loungewear does not have to be confined to the home.

LOUIS VUITTON 

I was struck by the fantasy of Louis Vuitton's SS12 collection. The pastel colours gives it a softness and child-like innocence that is 'oh-so elegant'. Marc Jacob’s has done well to convince us that it is okay to embrace our femininity, making our child like fantacies all the more tangible.

PETER PILOTTO

I am quite literally obsessed with Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos’s collection this season. The vibrant colours and patterns caught the eye of many, including Miranda Kerr who wore one of their pieces to the New York Fashion Awards. With awe-inspiring prints and cuts that complement the female figure, I think this spring is set to be a colourful one.

Sunshine

Whilst most bloggers are focusing on AW12/13 I personally find myself too excited by the warming weather to venture that far ahead. While admittedly I have been admiring the collections, especially the Givenchy boots… definitely a must have (pictured below). For now I am far more concerned with SS12.
